Una antiga església gòtica de Montblanc es transforma en sala de festes per Cap d'Any

Montblanc (ACN).- El jovent de Montblanc ha tornat a habilitar l'antiga església de Sant Francesc com una macro sala de festes per Cap d'Any. Per setè any consecutiu, el temple gòtic es transforma en una discoteca, amb 8.000 watts de so i 24.000 de llum, en una festa que organitza l'associació juvenil Barjaula, amb la col·laboració de l'Ajuntament. La presidenta de l'associació, Núria Griso, ha explicat a l'ACN que la iniciativa va néixer pensant en els joves de la vila, per evitar que haguessin de marxar fora i agafar el cotxe, i que ja s'ha convertit en una festa 'consolidada'. La sala, amb capacitat per a 1.000 persones, s'omple i l'organització es veu obligada a controlar l'accés per motius de seguretat.
